St John Ambulance - Training (29 Feb 2008)

The seconary 1s were introduce to fracture for their first aid theory. During their first aid practical they were taught how to clean a open abrasion wound. The secondary 2s and 3s did their first aid group training guided by the Sec 4s today. Total of 3 teams: Senior Nursing, Junior Nursing and Ambulance team. Today's case is electric shock. The 3 teams took turns to perform the case. While 1 of the team is performing, the other 2 observe and learn in the following order: Senior Nursing Team, Ambulance Team and Junior Nursing Team.

Today, training at JVS Corps carried on as usual.

The secondary 1s had their fooddrill, the secondary 2s had their first aid training and the secondary 3s had their first committee meeting.

After their formal training, the members proceed of with an hour of ball games for recreation.

St John Ambulance - Training (15 Feb 2008)

Today the secondary 1s go through basic drill and first aid. The secondary 2s bushed up on their drills and the secondary 3s members went through some leadership training conducted by SGT Chu Ting. After the tedious training, there was a Yu Sheng session where everyone "Lao". We end off the training with fabulouse treat of snacks and jellies prepared by our teacher-in-charge, Ms Gaithri and her students.

St John Ambulance - Training (01 Feb 2008)

2 more Secondary 1 members, that adds up to 16 guys and 8 girls. Today the Sec 1s started their very first first aid lecture and the seniors carried on with their own activity. After lecture, they sec 1s had some recreation led by the sec 3s and training ends with a small birthday celebration for January and February babies. In tune with the coming Lunar New Year, members were issued chinese new year cards sponsored by the officer-in-charge.
